Serious Games Interactive

Serious Games Interactive, a research-based SME based in Copenhagen, Denmark started in 2006. There are currently 18 employees that provide all the necessary skills to make a high-quality serious game. The staff includes programmers, animators, 2D artists, 3D artists, educational experts and game designers that all work in close collaboration with subject experts on all projects, carrying out thorough assessment and research to ensure that educational games work both in theory and practice. SGI have over the years released a number of titles in the Global Conflicts-series that deals with global issues like human rights and corruption. The series has been featured on CNN and BBC, and is receiving much interest from both teachers and students.

Contributions

SGI will be heading the core programming of the VISTRA Training Simulator, and the construction of the interface for the VISTRA Knowledge Sharing Centre (KSC). Besides the coding of the simulation, SGI will ensure the implementation of an engaging game-play that will help motivate the user. SGI will assist in designing the logging of user interaction and the feedback systems required for both the VKP and KSC.
